January results: iOS shots, DirectX11, Roar and CryEngine3

There are few news about our January activity.
First of all, we moved our server infrastructure to Roar Engine. Guys from Run With Robots are cool and we have a deal in result. We used our own Erlang-based solution before, but it's very expencive to develop and support it for us, so we preffered to use cloud solution. So, we got a very powerfull and scalable solution, which gave us ability to grow faster.
Second one, we made few tests with DirectX11. Nevertheless, DX9 is the primary tech for SeaCraft still, but we've completely changed our visuals. New screens will be soon, for now you can see just a one shot from DX11 internal benchmark test:
Heh, I found one old shot from CryEngine3 - that's how Komsomolets ship looks in it:
CE3 is useless for games like our (if you want I can describe in details). Also we love the power of the Unreal Engine 3 and don't want to change it to anything else :)
And for dessert, two screens from early iOS builds:
- iPhone 4 screen
- iPhone 5 emulation
Today we're working on something big and I hope we'll show it soon. Stay with us to be first! :)
